Body confirmed as Spaulding Gray

They announced on NPR news tonight that the body found in the East River in NYC is indeed monologist/humorist/actor Spaulding Gray who has been missing and feared a suicide since late January.

I loved his monologs and saw him in person 4 times. I will miss him. He had a family history (mother) of suicide, which is a significant risk factor in addition to chronic depression, but he was still a VERY funny guy. RIP.

I recall watching CNN and at that point he was considered missing. My friend from Japan called me about two weeks ago and told me he was dead.
