I know I am not sci, and I really don't have the right to post here or ask for anything, but could you please say an extra prayer for my Dad, Ben... He had a heart attack Monday and is going to have to have triple by-pass open heart surgery in the very near future...
I, Teena...am a basket case...a bundle of nerves...I know God is in control, but this is hard, y'all!
Thanks for praying...and thanks for letting me stay here and post...

My thoughts and prayers are with you, your father and the rest of your family during this very difficult time. It's very hard when someone you love isn't well. I know, I've been there. I know this may sound trite but try to give your fears and concerns over to God. It really does help.

I am so sorry to hear about your Father. I know it isn't all that long ago that you lost your Mother.

Thanks for all the kind words both here and in chat. Daddy came through the surgery with no complications. I appreciate every prayer and good thought sent up on his behalf and mine, whether you posted or not. Each one of you holds a dear place in my heart.

Teena - You are a wonderful daughter. Now just make sure your Dad follows doctor's orders. When we do our best that allows God to do the rest. God bless you and your Dad.

Hi all!
Spaz...sorry I didn't think to put an update here...
It is nice to know somebody cares enough to ask how my Dad is doing.
He is still trying to get his strength back...day by day. We are fine, thanks... We have great neighbors and family...and church family...
And my great CareCure family!
Everybody...from Dr. Wise to all the gang in chat, have been so supportive of me, if I just wanted to talk, vent, or be happy...and that means a lot.
You are a great gang to hang out with, and I am glad I came here...
and got to know you all. I am sending a huge {{{hug}}} 'cause y'all are the best!
