How do you do range of motion on yourself? Since my accident my mom has done them but I may be moving out soon. Can you give me some specific things I can do. Some stretches too, please. I haven't tried anything but clonidine and baclofen for my spasms. Is this zantaflex more effective?

Ladi, what is your level of injury? Generally anyone at about C7 or below who has kept themselves reasonably flexible can do their own range of motion exercises. It helps to have a fabric webbing "leg lifter" to do this. I do have a handout that I could fax if you need it.

If possible, you may want to see if you can get a single PT session for teaching you the techniques, as it is really not possible to show you on this site. The only sites I know of for ROM show someone else doing the ranging. (KLD)
