Simply post you're picture under a webspace site and then use that url as the address for where you're picture is at, I was unaware of how to do this and thanks to Russ my Profile is looking a lot better on all the sites that I am on. The pic I used on my profile is a lot better than the one on the old Cando site. Learn something new everyday. Curtis

Curtis, I still can't get your pic to load. Wonder if it's the .jpeg as the extension. I'm no computer genius, but I thought most were just .jpg?????

been having problems with the extension, the picture on my profile works fine on my computer, but maybe not on others? it does appear as a huge picture, so maybe there is something wrong. I'll try it on my laptop I guess. I have a month of free aol that I guess I'll use for my laptop since I can't connect that to my high speed access. I am a bonehead when it comes to this stuff thats why I never bothered with a picture before, now I am determined to get it to work!!!

Curtis,

GeoCities does not allow pictures to be referenced from pages not hosted on their domain. You will need to find some other place to post it for it to work.

I'll try another webspace provider. Did not know that. Curtis

It worked! And I learned the GeoCities sucks. http://sci.rutgers.edu/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif Curtis, do you want to reduce the siz of the image? I can do it for ya. But you may already have the software to do it on your computer.

I'll take you up on the offer to cut down the size, I just tried for about 1/2 hour and had no luck. I guess this picture program I am using does not have the provision to down size it. I tried cutting down the size in the "view" but it still comes out the same. Thanks. Curtis

Appreciate it, I posted the new pic below and in my profile and it looks great.

Any luck with the Van? If you lived closer I would give you hand with it. The hoses really are not to bad to change, just make sure that teflon tape is used at the fittings otherwise you will end up with a slow annoying leak. Curtis

i own build and operate www.azquad.com (http://www.azquad.com). the hosting service i use offers 200 megs, but i only use 15. this forum requires your picture on the web. i could make a page not linked to azquad.com to post your pictures. I could make 2 of them, 1 that could hold profiles so that we could see each other all on 1 page instead of having to use the profile on the forum with any information that you would like to provide. The other 1 I could make would just be for pictures to be posted on the web to use in your profile. All you have to do is email me your picture or pictures and tell me what kind of page that you would like to be on. And if you do not have any electronic pictures, email me for my address and you can send pictures to me which I will scan and post that way. Returning the pictures would be no problem. Let me know what you think
