Steve, what type of job experiences do you have? What level of education do you have, and in what field? What are your interests and talents? Have you met with a vocational rehabilitation counselor? Is there some reason you must work at home? While this may be more convenient, it does limit you a lot in job choices, esp. if you need to be financially independent, and it also limits your social contacts a lot (one real benefit of working outside your home).

Hi KLD
Thanks for your message
Before my accident, I worked in Pulp & Paper Mills. (lift truck driver)
I studied in College (Financial-Administration)
But it s long time ago(16 years ago)
The reason that I want to work at home is that I m completly paralysed, so it s not easy for me to leave home for a job...
If I could find something interesting on computer, it would be great
Thanks again
Steve

Steve, it sounds like you have a good background in both education and a work history. This will help. It is much easier to start working at home after you have already worked for an employer in a regular workplace. Have you got a voc rehab (DVR, VR, etc.) counselor. Have you met with them. This is important as the state may help with retraining (perhaps book-keeping) and even may pay for the schooling and transportation for this. Is there no decent para-transit in your area. Do you have a good power chair.

(sorry...the question mark on my keyboard has gone fritz!)
