CareCure a kinder, gentler place?

For those of you familiar with the SpineWire and Cando web sites, do you believe CareCure is a better place to post where members are kinder and more respectful?

Jeff, what a curious question and poll. Is there something that impelled this questions? Wise.

I would love to respond but the choices are limited. I think CareCure is a kinder gentler site but I don't believe that anything is better than SpineWire or CanDo. The tone here is more respectful, the postes are of high quality and the flaming that is so predominate at other sites is missing.
Funny that you should post this poll, I was having this discussion with a friend earlier today.

Hehehe. For a few months I'd wanted to share something about my marriage with all my friends who've been around on SpineWire/CanDo and now CareCure. Of course my strong opinions in the past had left some people always looking for an open door to insult and criticise me. I certainly don't mind on-topic differences of opinion and even criticism, but people who use information they've found out about your personal life simply in order to attack you have no place in a "community."

Anyway, I feel out of respect for Dr. Young and also to avoid the pitfalls of the past, that most of us are more careful in our posts and that we have a kinder community than maybe we had in the past. Just wondering if anyone else agrees.

You're right, CheeseCake, more choices would make answering the poll easier. Maybe if I had worded the "yes" answer differently.... Oh well, it should still give us a general idea.

I think the biggest difference is from you and how you perceive people and posts. You have mellowed..still stand firm in your opinions but definately mellower. The ear to ear grin of you and your bride tells it all.....very different picture then the one of you an your bicycle. You seem to have found an inner peace. I'm not sure all of what I'm noticing is a matter of perception but I agree that I have indeed mellowed. It's hard to let web people aggravate you when you're so happy with your new wife. Thanks for noticing.

Jeffe, You put a smile on my face, thanks. Having been on the receiving end of your tirades, I think you have mellowed or my skin has simply gotten thicker. Marriage is like a fine wine, you mellow with time.
