Where's the implant crowd?

I've got to have a malleable Jonas penile implant replaced, and may have to decide between a malleable and inflatable type (or not having a replacement at all). For various reasons I'm inclined toward the malleable, and I'd like to know also if there are differently designed ones. Of course in the end it's my decision, after I get my surgeon's input. But I'd be interested in hearing the experiences of others with implants. Is there some way in which the result is "better" for one type over another, or for thew inflatable over the malleable?

I got some basic info (particularly about failure rates) at medscape. But I'd appreciate hearing of others' expderiences, and maybew URLs to sites particularly concerned with implants. tia - fw

I suspect you are not getting many answers here because there are very few men with SCI who are having implants anymore.
