EVERYONE PLEASE READ

My name is Kelly. I was diagnosed as a paraplegic 8 months ago when a tumor at t-4 made my back colapse. The tumor was fed by the extra estrogen during my pregnancy. 2 weeks after the pregnancy my life changed dramatically.
I have had 2 surgeries. One to remove one portion of the tumor. The other was to get the reast of it. The dr. Did not expect anything to come of the 2nd surgery. I continue to baffle the Dr. I am begining to recover.
My reason for writing is because I have been very fortunate and I wanted to talk to all of you. I wanted to give you guys my UTMOST respect. I give you my respect because it is NOT an EASY lifestyle. I was totally paralized and having to waer a TLSO at the same time. I had to learn a totally new way of life. I have been given a second chance. I want to tell you guys how much I respect ALL of you.

Its kind of a tough life, no doubt. I am a t-4 complete for the last 20 years and what it comes down to is you do what you have to do and you take what is given to you and hope that things will get better, I am so glad to hear that you are doing better and that you're progress continues. Even having a mostly Paralyzed body tho, it is still possible to enjoy life as I have found and it is all attitude that counts. I like having a sense of humor about things and feel it makes life so much more enjoyable, the only problem is sometimes people don't know if I am serious or kidding sometimes, but once they get to know me they realize I am kind of charactor and laugh along with me. Wow kelly it is really great 2 have people like you on these boards to talk 2. People that can look life in the face and say you arent gonna get me down. Life is going 2 go on and I am going 2 do my best to live and be happy!!
