Senators to Announce Formation of Medical Technology Caucus at Capitol Hill Expo to Showcase Latest Lifesaving Tests, Treatments

Twenty-five of America's leading medical technology innovators will join Senators Norm Coleman (R-Minn.) and Evan Bayh (D-Ind.) to celebrate the formation of the Senate Medical Technology Caucus at Noon, Wednesday, June 18 in the Dirksen Senate Office Building Auditorium (Room G-50).
The findings of an AdvaMed survey of medical technology executives will be presented during the event. The survey identifies issues impacting the future of innovation as well as the technologies of the future.
The exhibits also will feature some of today's most remarkable medical technologies employed in the fight against such deadly debilitating conditions as cancer, heart disease, AIDS, diabetes, and spinal injury. The technologies include implantable cardiac defibrillators, computer-assisted surgery, advanced spinal fusion techniques, molecular diagnostics, advanced imaging systems, and the latest diabetes management tools.
