There is a NSCIA chapter in the Phoenix area, but it does not appear they have a formal support group. I would still recommend contacting them though:
NSCIA Chapter Affiliates
Arizona United Spinal Cord Injury Association
901 E. Willetta, Ste. 2306 , Phoenix , AZ 85006
Telephone: (602) 239-5929 or (877) 778-6588
Fax: (602) 239-6268
Email: info@azspinal.org
Contact: Paul Mortenson
There is also a PVA chapter in AZ. Even if you are not a veteran, you will find this group supportive and many times you are welcome to attend their events:
Arizona Chapter PVA
8126 N. 23rd Avenue, Suite J
Phoenix, AZ 85021
Phone: (602) 244-9168 or(800) 621-9217
Fax: (602) 244-0416
E-Mail: azpva@azpva.org
Web: www.azpva.org (http://www.azpva.org)

Hi there. There are a couple of groups in AZ. One meets every Tuesday evening down at Good Sam I believe (I just dont go because I have class this night). I would check out the AZ Spinal Cord Association: http://www.azspinal.org/. Arizona Bridge for Independent Living Might also have something: http://www.abil.org/.
Good Luck!
