I am developing a Spinal Cord Injury Support Group in Southwest Missouri.

Various members from the SCI list serv, recommended that I post this info.
SCI persons, caregivers and friends all welcomed!!
The first few meeting will be brainstorming to look at the needs of the folks in this area. One young man, thought it would be great to have a wheelchair basketball game against police officers, teachers, etc. Great idea. if you have ideas and suggestions,I am open!!

im from nixa, mo. i think this is great. im in st louis as of now but when i make it back home
i plan to get more involved with suport groups.

Do a SCI search for support groups at www.meetup.com (http://www.meetup.com) There are 2 for SCI's established there and you just type in your zip to find the closest group in your area. If there are some groups close to your area, but to far to try to get to each month then maybe you can get in touch with them and have a flyer up about the group you want to start.
