I just wanted to know if anyone has any opinions or any recommendations for this center for SCI programs or doctors. We might be moving to that area, and I saw that it does have a spinal cord injury program. But I'd like to know the good and bad to it. Thanks.

Many years ago they had a good reputation, but I have not heard a lot about them in the last 10 years. Have you considered Santa Clara Valley Medical Center in San Jose? It is further away, but since it is the only Model System SCI Center in northern California, I would at least seriously consider it as a source of SCI care.
On the other hand, they are CARF accredited for SCI rehab, so perhaps they have improved their program in the last few years. This hospital is in the heart of San Francisco, near the Castro and close to the UCSF campus.
