neurologist

Can anyone recommend a good neurologist in the Atlanta area? I've been told its good to see one but all the ones I've called don't specialize in sci.

I would recommend calling the Shepherd Spinal Center and asking who on their staff might be available, or if they could recommend a local physician. Do you really need a neurologist? Most people go to a physiatrist or a knowledgeable internist for their general SCI and health care. Most neurologists have no interest in SCI and will not follow up a your PCP.

Why don't they dwell into this topic? Do they have 'traditional' thinking? And those that do work on this subject, what type physicians are they?
