PHYSICALLY CHALLENGED FITNESS CENTER OPENS
The doors are now open to the Neuro Institute, a company that provides specialized rehabilitation and therapy programs for people with traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis and all forms of paralysis. The center features exercise equipment modified for wheelchair accessibility, a full range of therapies and cognitive retraining. Founder and exercise physiologist Arnie Fonseca Jr. said that he built the facility to take people beyond the typical rehab programs provided by standard medical care.
