Dr. Margaret "Peggy" Portwood, Sacramento Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She also has an office in Citrus Heights, CA that is MUCH better for access and timeframe for being seen.
Her partners except one are pretty negative, she on the otherhand listens, talks to you not AT you, explores options, alternative medicine and is as patient as they come. She was my God send as I saw here before the SCI and she kept me moving forward after. When all encouraged me to terminate my pregnancy, she tld me to look into my heart and do what I thought was best. She helped me find answers, but made me deal with some difficult questions. Another important issue, everyone she sent me to see was OUTSTANDNG. She is great at picking speciality care if she is not restrained by a HMO requirement.
