I don't know if this is appropriate or not but this was left on my website. I have very little knowledge of chemistry so I don't know if this is something new or even worthwhile I thought I would pass it along to see if anyone is familiar with this

Comments: We are a young french company specialized in medicinal chemistry (see our website).
I discovered your interesting website about SCI.
We have identify among marketed drugs, a chiral compound, extracted from its racemic drug, which is as active as rolipram on PDE4, with the same selectivity compared to the other PDE isoforms. Rolipram was a potential compound for SCI. This propose compound is not emetic and is able to cross the blood-brain-barrier.
Moreover, this compound is easy to develop since it was already marketed as a racemic drug for an other indication.
The propose compound can be orally administered up to 500 mg/day (data isolated from the racemic drug). The active dose should be bellow this level. So we estimate that this compound could be a promise compound to treat SCI.
We are now looking for solutions to develop this compound. Maybe you could help us in our quest (contacts...) ?

Interesting. By the way, 500 mg per day is a high dose. I wonder if they have done any animal studies. Wise.
