Is there such a thing a power chair tray that folds down beside (the outside) of my armrest? Like those one in the armrest on airplanes? I need something to write on in lectures. I found this one that folds up,I wonder if the hinge could be switched? http://www.therafin.com/paddedfliptray.htm

Or this one is very cool, http://www.allegromedical.com/wheelchair_accessories/wheelchair_trays/ableware/lap_top_wheelchair_desk.P192653

I just need to easily fold it out of the way to cath etc.

Debbie had one for awhile - forget the type, though. Kinda bulky and to her it was mostly one more way to scrape paint off walls, but they should work nicely for your needs. Looks like they're lower profile now ,too.

Perfect KLD, exactly what I was looking for. I didn't want one that had to actually be completely removed and put somewhere when I wasn' using it. Now hopefully vocational case worker will approve it.
