DA,
I spoke to Dr. Peduzzi yesterday about Dr. Lima. He is now trying to seperate and culture stem cells and OEG's from the mucosa. He wants to be able to transplant larger amounts of effective cells into the injury. I have not heard when he will try this in a human but I will try to find out a little more.
The results he has seen so far have been a mixed bag. Some people improved others did not. Dr. Lima feels the pre-surgery testing was not adequate and the rehab after has not been good either.

thanks. dr lima is taking a small step IMO. could someone contact him and suggest a cell graph across injury site since axons hate trying to grow over space.

Where are these cells injected...above or below the injury site?

It seems like the surgeons have pushed Dr. Lima. It takes not only money and time, also experience to get everything aligned and fitting together.

I wonder if those who recovered the least or not at all were low paras?
