Hi Titanium4Motion,
I recently saw an episode of "How It's Made" about New Balance sneakers made in the US (http://www.shopnewbalance.com/information/madeinusa.asp). Some are made of leather and they're high quality.
New Balance is the only athletic shoe company that continues to prove high-quality athletic footwear can be produced competitively in the United States. We are committed to American workers. One out of every four pair of shoes sold in the U.S. is made or assembled in the U.S. by our U.S. workforce using U.S. and imported materials.
I don't imagine you're looking to buy a rifle as a gift but if you are, Henry Rifles (http://www.henryrepeating.com/henry-rifles.cfm) are well known among rifle enthusiasts and famous for their quality and workmanship. 100% US materials and workmanship.
There's a website that lists stuff that's still made in the US. You can Google for it. If I can find it soon I'll add the URL here.
Bob.
Here's (http://www.google.com/#hl=en&cp=13&gs_id=12&xhr=t&q=made+in+us+website&pf=p&sclient=psy-ab&source=hp&pbx=1&oq=made+in+us+we&aq=0v&aqi=g-v1g-b1&aql=&gs_sm=&gs_upl=&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.,cf.osb&fp=5d239e708df5c66e&biw=1280&bih=665) the Google page for stuff made in the US. I thought it better to show the whole page than to select just a couple URLs.

Hi Jenn,
The upside to our watery beer is that it's better for your bladder. LaBatts used to be my favorite beer but have since gone US with Samuel Adams... especially their Boston Lager.

Lots of art and crafts made in America.
Try www.Etsy.com for many artists who sell on-line, most from the USA. I collect the carved wooden animals made by Sandra Healy (http://www.etsy.com/people/SandraHealy?ref=ls_profile) which she sells there (she is from Northern California).
If it is for a woman, jewelry from www.HollyYashi.com is great. They are in Arcata, CA, where I went to college.
Native American pottery, baskets, and jewelry are all the ultimate "Made by Americans" craft and art pieces.
Lots of publishing still occurs in the USA. Coffee table books of all sorts are available, many of American locations or topics, and make nice gifts.
Check out this for products made in California: http://www.madeincalifornia.net/
