Coming on this forum has really changed my life for the better. I got so much information about bladder management from all of you and it made me realize that there's hope for me.
I have spina bifida and up until few months ago, I was in such a distress due to my bladder. It used to leak and spasm all the time. I used to think that there is no treatment for this. I had resolved that this is how my life's going to be.
But after reading your stories I realized that may be there's hope for me too. I went to an urologist (after almost 10 years) and he put me on bladder spasm medicine & now there's so much improvement. I can go for 2-3.5 hours without catherization, which is a huge improvement for me.
This may not sound too huge for you as you all go through so much and overcome so many obstacles daily, but I really really want to thank everyone of you. I don't exactly remember the exact members who's posts I read & learned from, so thank you all.
