I wanted to put a ceiling fan in my living room, but breaking my back kind of put a damper on that idea, until I got another idea... Take one EasyStand 5000 with the mobile kit, add some extra 26" wheelchair wheels I had laying around, a pair of hardened studs and coupling nuts, and voila...I can reach the ceiling nicely (being 6'3" helps too using this set up). The tilt back is intentional, I dont feel like doing a face plant with the different center of gravity. Total cost...$10.00 if you have the wheels already. The bolts that come with the EasyStand mobile kit for the front wheels work perfect with wheelchair wheels, and the studs and coupling nuts can be found in the Grainger catalog.
