Interstim by Medtronic

I have the Interstim by Medtronic implanted for my bladder. I am an incomplete walking quad with an overactive bladder. It is hard for me to tell if it works or not because I have good days and bad and some days I will say yes and other times no.
My question is, does the constant stimulation of the nerves do damage to my body? Will my nerves just stop working one day from over use?
My device is supposed to be replaced next week and I am trying to decide if I want to keep it.

Used properly, it should not damage your nerves, but you will find on our forums more people who have tried this device and decided against it, or had an implanted one removed than you will find who were helped by it.
