Hi all, My house is on a hill and has about 16 steps just to get to the front door alone from the sidewalk. since the spring/summer of 09 my family has been trying to sell our house in order for me to come to home but with the market it's brutal.
We've searched around and for a house that is on flat even land that we want to buy and adapt. It just so happens that the house we would like to buy is on the same street 5 or 6 doors down kind of abandoned for years.
I was wondering if any programs existed that helped disabled families sell their homes, our bought their homes. Or maybe if their was a way to get a bank to buy your house or mortgage, so that you could buy a new home?
I live in NY....any information would help, nursing home living sucks
