A company called NorthStudio has created a video with Nimmo Bay Helicopter Resort that allows viewers to control the viewing angle of 360-degree panoramic pre-recorded video through a click-and-drag interface. The technology uses six cameras strapped to a custom-built rig attached to a pole that's attached to the helicopter. Proprietary video merging software then creates the "seamless flying experience." According to the company, the technology was made possible due to improvements in internet and processor speeds. In the video, the camera is slung below a helicopter as it flies down rivers, skims 10,000-year-old glaciers, hovers over waterfalls, and more, and the viewer controls the viewing direction at all times.

I am always amazed at the ideas people come up with. I used to do a lot of slalom skiing when I was younger so I really appreciate this. Looks like fun but I am sure it would hurt hitting them if you fall.

When I speak to new SCI's I always tell them to be patient and they will think of other ways to get things done.
I think the next time I speak at a school I will include this clip as it shows a bunch of kids putting their minds together to get something done.

When I worked for Cessna Aircraft Company in the early 80's a sales guy came into a meeting of all the Aircraft Sales Managers (I was one) and tried to sell us "Portable phones" in his sales pitch he had one line which turned out to be the reason none of us wanted to buy one "The office will be able to get a hold of you virtually anywhere" we were sales guys we didn't want the office to get a hold of us all the time.

The first model I had was the one that took up half a brief case. The next was the one that clipped onto "portable base" then I finally got a Motorola portable shown in the clip. That was 1983.

I like a Carlsberg beer once in a while so a friend of mine sent me this clip. Thought it was pretty interesting and funny. It struck me as interesting because I have had people look at me being in a chair the same sort of way.
They don't know what to make of you.
They hesitate at first before they say anything.
You can see that they are uncomfortable.
I was at a Starbucks the other day and I could tell that a few ladies and a guy seemed a little uncomfortable until I said "would you mind moving that chair out of the way because I brought my own with me." with a grin. They laughed and then we had a great conversation.

Interesting clip to go along with a wonderful group of people that are saving the beagles that are being used for lab dogs in research in a number of uses. Cosmetics for example is one use that I have known of.

Anyway it is amazing to see these animals touching grass and seeing sunlight for the first time in their lives'.
