Dr. Young, thank you and your team for the fantastic job of getting this site together! To my question: do you have any human trials in process or will you be initiating human trials in the future?

Wizard, we are a research laboratory and probably will not be doing any clinical trials. However, I work closely with many clinical trial groups. Our goal is to organize a consortium of clinical trial centers that will be testing the latest and best therapies, to have a consortium of spinal cord injury research centers constantly feeding these therapies into clinical trial, and to ensure that therapies move quickly from laboratory to people. Why? You are referring to a post that I wrote in 2001. That reflected the position of my laboratory at the time. In some ways, it is still true. We are a research laboratory that develops therapies. In the past few years, however, I formed the ChinaSCINet to do clinical trials in China. We are now trying to organize clinical trials in the United States.

mckeownp, sorry... I didn't mean to seem annoyed. I am not. I was just puzzled. That's all. That post was on July 25, 2001. I think that it was the day that CareCure opened to the public.
As to "why this is your calling", I have been privileged by the opportunity to do something for people I care very much. It is a rare honor indeed to be paid to do what you want to do and can do it well.
