For any quads out there using trackball as I have, you may want to consider using an iPad as I just began doing. It is amazingly easier and more precise to use and with the application, Air Mouse, easy to set up on mac or windows. For 6 years, due to greater impairment, I've typed and used a trackball using my left hand. Today I began using the Air Mouse app and ipad, with my RIGHT hand and in 5 minutes found it more precise and efficient than my trackball on the left! It has freed up my right hand to focus on the keyboard. It's amazing. I recommend you try it if you can. If it isn't for you, I'm sure there are other uses for an iPad:)

Awesome! I may try that, I've been using a Cirque mouse pad http://www.cirque.com/desktoptouchpad/touchpad-mouse-overview.aspx, much smaller but I use it in the same way. (hate trackballs) Didn't know this could be done so thank you for posting. :thumb:

P.S. I love my iPad!

I've been using Air Mouse with my Iphone for some time now. It's the app I use at night while in bed with my laptop connected to my TV. Absolutely invaluable.

I've used it for a while too, more to control Hulu/etc from the couch while the MBP is connected to the TV.

It does a LOT more than just act like a trackpad. Read: http://www.mobilemouse.com/
