Use this day and every day to thank the wonderful men and women who served in our military, especially those who paid the ultimate price. Thanks to those now protecting us from harm and may thay return home unscathed to their families and friends.

All gave some, some gave all. God Bless this great nation.

The best of us have sacrificed the most, for all of us.

It is our duty, then, those who do not see war, to live well, live freely, and never forget what has been given to us, nor the cost...

Thanks, Ket Kit, for the post and the picture of the Wall. I can't see that Memorial without tearing up.

Today, I specifically remember the men of the US Army who served with my father in India during WWII, and who flew with my brother in the 8th Cavalry, Troop F BlueGhosts.

I wish them peace and owe them much, as I do all of the women and men who've paid for my freedom with their lives.
