Dammit. I was all set to go to a family BBQ for a local parenting website when I remembered to check accessibility. For the second weekend in a row this stupid chair is preventing me from participating. Guess I'll just cry and eat the veggies and dip I spent all morning preparing.

Life sucks.

is there away of letting people know that you need accessibility prior to the event? i doubt they are trying to exclude you, they may be able to arrange something with prior notice, maybe hold it at a different location, i cant imagine they would not work hard to accommodate you.

I know they would have. It's partly my fault for not being specific. I heard from the organizer right after I posted and she assured me there was a ramp. So I wen't anyhow but the bathrooms were not accessible and I needed a good shove to get over the door step.
