114mb is huge bro. How long is the vid? Format? Compress that junk if you can. http://sci.rutgers.edu/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif
BTW, most mail servers won't accept files that large.
Shaun:
Are you trying to do this over a dialup connection? I have cable internet and the maximum upload or attachment my ISP will permit is 10MB. I purchased my hardware and software for video editing but I have never tried to send a file that large. As Scott points out, you will need to compress this file. Lets see what some of our members have to say.

I have a high speed connection..The files are 2mins and 5mins long and since my last computer meltdown,i had buddy overhaul it and now have no video editing anything,i cant even play the disc i downloaded the files to to check it..So ya,i may need to purchase some software tommorow.
Is there a way i can compress these files to send without purchasing software? im just curious..Thanks guys.

Sign on to AIM and use their file tranfer. If both users are on the same cable provider it tranfers super fast. If not still at a decent rate.

~~If it feels good do it even if ya shouldnt, dont let people mess you around~~The reason you can't play video could just be a codec issue. If you have a dvd drive and are unable to play DVD's then you will need software to view them. Windows Media player will play most all video formats, granted you have the proper audio/video codecs. Divx, mpeg2 and some others can be downloaded off the web if Windows Media player won't download them automaticaly.
Next sending via email over 100MB is bout insane. a 2 to 3 min vid clip should be no more then a few MB at it's largest. To reduce them you will need special software dvdshrink is one I have heard mentioned at a file sharing network I frequent. There are several applications you can find that are free to edit and compress video. I don't mess with movies like I do mp3 and music videos. If I was going to be sending file sizes that large I would use FTP or a p2p program such as AIM, MSN, or IRC. You could also snail mail them a cd.

Send the file to your email address and post the URL to multiple people. Send me the files and I will compress and host them for you.

Learn from the mistakes of others, you won't live long enough to make all of them yourself.
Might try WebAttack.com for software before going out to buy
Plus if you ever have any missing files you can get them there also!
It's a very useful web site!
