You don't read the INSTALL instructions!
Use the PHPOpenChat-Installer to install and configure your chat.
Then get this

First of all, there are two things to do before you can start the installation!
create a database account preconditioned you have permissions to access an existing mysql-database. If not, you have to install a mysql-database first
Enable write access to
/your/path/to/<phpopenchat-2.x.x>/includes/defaults_inc.php
/your/path/to/<phpopenchat-2.x.x>/html/.htaccess
Certainly for the installation procedure only.
Please fill out the following form to setup the database connection for your new chat.
Username:
Password:
Databasehost: Your database is'nt on the same host as your webserver? In this case change "localhost" to your mysql-database-hostname.
