I have a shorten achilles on right foot. No ankle roll there. When I would lift only the toes would point upward. Botox is shot in my calf I do two things 1) do a runner stretch really trying to put my body weight thru achilles 2) I try to strenghten the front tibia muscle by trying to lift foot at ankle. I am starting to some lift and ankle roll to the right mostly.
My question though; Is Botox the solution or just a false positive? Thanks for input

The botox is not increasing your muscle strength but is taking away the spasticity in that particular muscle. That allows you to strengthen the muscle by using it actively.
Does that make sense?

Botox is not a miracle and does work well for some people. It sounds like it is for you. However, some people do experience a decrease in effect over time. Can not predict who that will be. I think that is some of the frustration that you hear.
