Woman from Europe:

You should be able to edit your post. I will edit one of my replies to find out if that option is working or not. Are you talking about pictures that used to be on your computer?

No, I am talking of the pictures people are posting on carecure. They are gone. I must have done something but I do not know what. Even the avatars are gone. And the sign where you edit you post. Suddenly some of pictures is laying on "my pictures" on my computer??????????
I know I am stupid with computers but I can't be that stupid.

Please, help me to get the pictures back.

Are you having this problem only on CareCure web site, or is it happening elsewhere as well? Do you know what browser you are using?

I suggest you do the easy stuff first. If this is a Windows computer, make sure your antivirus is up-to-date, scan for spyware, defrag, make sure you have done your Windows critical updates. If possible, download the Mozilla browser. Let us know what happens and remember we were all "computer cream puffs" at one time.

I have tried everything you told me but nothing happened. The pictures are still gone and all the smileys. And the little edit and reply sign under the topics and the avatars http://sci.rutgers.edu/forum/images/smilies/frown.gif

What version of Windows are you running? Please check your e-mail and your Private Topics. Click on the link below and let me know if you can see the planets.

I am running xp and I can see the planets. I feel stupid now http://sci.rutgers.edu/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif. I can see my smiley when I write it but not after when my post is showing. And I can't see any smileys up on the blue squares when I write now.

When you change browsers from Mozilla to Firefox and then Internet Explorer, the results are the same? Try this free online VirusScan.

Panda VirusScan (http://www.pandasoftware.com/activescan/com/activescan_principal.htm)

I do not know how to change back to IE. I have not been using it for months. And of course I did not change to Mozilla either, somebody else did. I know I don't have any virus because I was scanning with Norton today. Stupid? Me? Yes.

Try the online VirusScan and let us know the results. After that, we can find Internet Explorer and you will need an antivirus. Are you the administrator on this Windows XP account? In other words, who else uses this computer besides yourself?
