Is there a way to use a cursor in Windows that doesn't blink? My sister has vertigo, so she can't tolerate looking at a blinking cursor.

Alan: I googled it and I came up with the following:

Stop the Cursor from Blinking in MS Word

Even if cursor blink is off in desktop configuration, you will still need to modify a Registry key to stop cursor blinking in MS Word HKEY_CURRENT_USERControl PanelDesktopCursorBlinkRate The default value is 1200. Change the value to 999999

Sometimes the cursor would still blink after following the above procedure. The AutoText ToolTip window may also blink. Apply Hotfix ME183W041 or it equivalent.

Go to Start/Settings/Control Panel, open Accessibility Options, click on Display tab, move the "Blink Rate" slider control all the way to the left, click apply, OK.
