Hi Liz,

I use Dragon Voice Rec, but I do not use the Olympus Digital or any other recorder. If I understand your question correctly, you can email a wav file. You would have to attach it to the email before you send it. Did you purchase your Dragon software or anything else from Lunis?

By the way, who is your ISP (Internet service provider)?

Hi.

My ISP provider is optimum online, through our cable system.

I was hoping I could record and then have DD transcibe the recording?

I'll have to read the manual...........LOL!

Liz, your ISP should be able to explain how to attach and send a wave file by e-mail. I think you want to go to the DragonBar at the top of the screen and select "Sound," and then go to "Transcribe Reporting". It looks like there are three different ways to transcribe or import audio files.

It looks like a first-class digital voice recorder.

Olympus Digital Voice Recorder (https://cart.knowbrainer.com/description.php?II=75&UID=2004081321595468.4.2.203)

We recommend the following when using the Olympus recorder to record:

1. Select "Olympus Recorder" or "Dictation from wav file" as the Dictation source.
2. Record enrollment wave file with the recorder. The recorder does not have to be plugged into the computer to do this.
3. Download the wave file to the computer.
4. Adapt/create user from downloaded enrollment wave file.
5. Create any necessary recordings for later transcription with the recorder. Once again, the recorder does not need to be plugged into the computer.
6. Download the recordings to the computer.
7. Export or store the user files.

Dragon Knowledgebase (http://knowledgebase.scansoft.com/view.asp?tnID=5484&sQuery=voice%20recorder)

When all else fails RTFM.

Although I don't have any personal experience, I can't imagine this feature working all that well. You may find yourself spending a lot of time fixing errors and correcting Dragon. Let us know how you make out.
