aoe II fix

i havent played of aoe II in ages. my nephew wanted to play me over my network. however on the multiplayer menu it no longer shows internet or lan option. it shows serial, ipx, and modem. any ideas?

yes ipx....what about it.

Use ipx. You're computers are networked together, right? IPX is the replacement for Internet/LAN. How's your network set up?

IPX will only work for LAN. WinXP doesn't install the IPX protocol by default, so you'll have to go to your network properties and add it.
