Most keyboards on laptops will not allow the keys to just be poped off. You must take apart the machine and remove the keypad to clean it.
Look man, take a pro's advice and get a small bedside table (preferably on wheels) and place it next to your computer desk. This way you can set your beer and chips on it instead of near the comuter.

What laptop? Is it under warranty? My powerbook allows the entire keyboard to pop off w/o disassembling anything. I just press a couple spring-loaded tabs.
A USB keyboard would be an easy, cheap solution. You may want to get it checked out though... if coffee got into the other internal components...

I think I'll go cheap on this one and try a USB Y Adapter with a USB Keyboard. You think? Then that will leave more room and time for chattin http://sci.rutgers.edu/forum/images/smilies/cool.gif
