Just wondering if anyone here has an Abit motherboard, and has used Abit's Flashmenu utility to update the bios.

Alan: Did you recently add some new hardware to your computer?

flashing is very risky. Make sure you know what you are doing.

I have not done it myself but I read that if you do the download from ABit it will scan yours first to tell you what the upgrades will be.

Yeah, I fried the motherboard once trying to fix it that way. Not good.

I agree, make sure you know what you're doing first.

Don't piss me off or I'll run over your toes. http://sci.rutgers.edu/forum/images/smilies/tongue.gif

Haven't added anything lately, PN.

This utility is supposed to handle everything. I've flashed motherboards in the past the old fashioned way - from a dos boot disk.
