Lookie at my new computer!http://sci.rutgers.edu/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif I thought that I would get into gaming a bit, and my old laptop was more or less 'business class' with a not so great video card, so it was time to get something a bit speedier...

Dell 8600, Pentium M 1.5 GHz, 512 MB, 60Gb 7200rpm HD, ATI 9600 Pro Turbo w/128MB video, Intel wireless.

So far I got Call of Duty on it, runs great and quite entertaining. I havent played computer games in some time, so I dont have a collection of games yet, but plan to. At any rate, it works pretty good so far on a current DX9 based game, the hardware acceleration is there, so I think it is a good alternative to a desktop based system.
