I, the least of all geeks, has successfully networked my home...I am now wireless at all hours of the day and night from all the favorite spots in my home...and I did not curse...much ...during the process...

Mary, if only the screen on your laptop is broken, then you could purchase a computer monitor for approximately $100. You will not be mobile but at least you will have a computer to use.

NO such luck PN, the power jack ripped off the motherboard....she is gone....sigh...but I am shopping...dang ..good thing I work...when I get 'round to it!

krstofer- it is where the power cord plugs into the back of the lap top that broke from the mother board....do you think it can be fixed through non traditional means? I know the dealers all say "No".
