How to Defrag

1. Click Start
2. Click All Programs
3. Click Accessories
4. Click System Tools
5. Click Disk Defragmenter Sometimes you may have to boot into Safe Mode to defrag your hard drive. To do this, click Start, Shutdown, Restart. While booting up [just after the BIOS screen], start tapping the F8 key. From the list, select Safe Mode. http://sci.rutgers.edu/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif

I use a program called Diskkeeper that is much faster than the built-in Windows program.

Appears to cause chronic BSOD's on my machine.
Set up defrag, go to bed.
All done on wake-up.
