What the hells wrong with me. [Archive]

Im just getting over the flu and then start having headaches and also start shivering. My whole body is literally aching and feel real weak, this is been going on for two days now. Im eating ok and drinking water its really preventing me from doing my assignment thats due next monday. Im wearing warm clothing so dont know where the shivering is cumn from. I cant even last a whole day at uni recently but in the past ive just cruised thru no probs. Any help?

I get those symptoms when I have a UTI, but you'd know to check for that. Sorry I'm not much help, but I did want to send a get well hug. I can totally relate to being bummed about missing school because of something SCI-related. It blows.

It sounds like a UTI to me as well. Could also be the return of your flu or a different strain. Feel better soon.

It could be a UTI, but it can also take several weeks after the flu to get your energy back, and stressful physical activity during that time can also be the cause of your symptoms. Call your physician and discuss with them if you need any tests.

It was a UTI and was by far the worst ive ever had. I was literally weak, I couldnt even muster enough energy to get out of my car. On antibiotics now, feel a lot better and am back in the library doing my assignment, no rest for the wicked! It was hard to differentiate what was wrong with me cause i had the flu at the same time, so thought it was just the flu but then everything just went down hill and new then that it had to be something else. Man Ive never felt so ill in my entire life UTI + flu is such a bad combination, so happy im feeling better and can finally push around and get into my uni work..Smiles all round!
