If your password is over six characters long, just use the first six and let us know what happens.

Weed, which URL do you use? Some people had the chat URL bookmarked and that was the trouble, since the URL changed. Make sure you use the following:

Lewis , the first time you go to the chatroom you use ''cure ''as the password , once in change the password to your choice ...WeedMyLips , it does take a fair while for the chatroom to appear [load applet or some such computer freak talk ] . hope this helps .

thank you

Steven, Dogger, after trying your suggestions I still get "Sorry, your username and password are not correct. Please try again."

Lewis, the chatroom is hosted on a different site. It has no access to your password on the carecure forums. However, it will recognize your name as a registered member on the site. So, if you enter your regular username and then enter "cure" as your password, you should be able to get into the chatroom. The first page that shows up after you have logged into the site will allow you to switch the password to one of your choice. If you cannot log in, it suggests that your or somebody had previously registered at the chatroom with your username and another password.

Weedmylips, the chatroom is fairly sensitive to the browser that you use. Also, when you log in, it downloads a lot of icons and other pictures. If you are using a slow connection to internet, it sometijmes can take as long as 15-20 minutes.

Wise.

Well then, it sounds like my name has been used before because using my username and "cure" as a password does not work.

I contacted Jeff and he fixed the problem http://sci.rutgers.edu/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif

Lewis

What was the problem? It seems many people here have struggled to get into the chatroom and maybe we can all get a lesson or two out of your experience.

Thanks,

Steve

I wish I could tell you http://sci.rutgers.edu/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif

If you tried your username and "cure" and you still have no success, I would e-mail Jeff: otownjeff@hotmail.com

Maybe Jeff can post what he did but I am assuming it is something he can only do on his end as administrator.
