I have submitted a "support" ticket to Infopop to look into this and try to fix it. However, one person from infopop took a look at the site and says that he did not see any problem. So, does anybody else see what I am seeing? Thanks. Wise.

Are you still seeing it? Right now, everything looks correct for me.

BTW, NaN [Not a Number] is an error that is received in programming when the program tries to convert a string into a number. It could be a JavaScript error... did you update or change your browser?

I think that I may have isolated the problem. I had downloaded and installed the new Java 1.4.1 package for OSX about two weeks ago. The data problem occurs with all the browsers that I use, including Netscape 7.1, Explorer 5.2, Mozilla 1.4a, Camino 0.7. It does not occur with Safari 1.0 beta 2 but this is only on the old interface.

I don't know, Wise. Java and Javascript, aside from the names, are two entirely different things. The latter is usually just run by a scripting engine installed with the browser.

Have you been having the problems since you installed Java 1.4.1 or just today?

Steven, I have been grasping at straws. After several communications with the Infopop people, the problem resolved by itself. Don't know what happened. Wise.

That's why I like computers; they break themselves and they fix themselves http://sci.rutgers.edu/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif.

Lewis, it is true not only of computers but people as well, sometimes. By the way, the site seems to be finally coming back up to speed and the number of javascript errors seem to be declining or at least people are not complaining as much of errors when they download the files. Wise.
