Hello,
I recently purchased and set up a home wireless network using Cisco Linksys router. It came with a trial version of HND that has expired. I keep getting nag email saying HND has exoired.... The sky will fall if I don't buy full version. Is this true?
I am set up using WAP encrryption and named and pass protected my network. Am I ok? Can people steal/access my signal?
HND SEEMS to mostly allow you to control / restrict content.

From what I've read the sky will not fall if you do not purchase the HND. You should be just fine with WPA as long as you have a strong alphanumeric password. HND also offers Trend Micro AntiVirus + AntiSpyware baked in to the device itself. You do have to pay a yearly subscription fee for the Malware protection. It sort of reminds me of the Astaro Security Gateway which is a UTM (Unified Threat Management System). OpenDNS (https://www.opendns.com/start/) is free and it allows for Internet filtering, as well as blocking bad sites.
If you decide that you do not want HND you will still get the hardware firewall protection from the router.

Thanks PN!
I thought as much but it is nice to get opinions from people more knowledgable than myself.
I have a stand alone anti-virus that monitors the network + MalwareBytes.
Enjoy your long weekend!
