PC TO CELLl PHONE TEXTING

Does anyone know the website of how to text from PC to cell phone? I think Dr. Wise Young posted it a while back and I can't find it.

If you can't find that thread by searching CC archives, try looking at the website of your carrier. They often have a means for you to log into your account and send a text to a phone number. Check the carrier's FAQ list.Does anyone know the website of how to text from PC to cell phone? I think Dr. Wise Young posted it a while back and I can't find it.

Google Voice does it as well.

But yeah, just search around. There are lots of ways out there.

You can send text messages from your e-mail by using a phone number followed by an "@" and a certain address for whatever carrier you're looking to get to let you can find here (http://www.livejournal.com/tools/textmessage.bml?mode=details). I use it all the time to get a hold of friends. You can even transfer pictures from your phone like this. I'm also pretty sure you can send text messages from Yahoo messenger and probably AIM.

In Vancouver you have to use the website of their carrier. Paste the appropriate website for everyone into your contacts
