Monitor Blackout

For some reason my Monitor keeps blacking out, it would start blinking then blacks out. So I turn the monitor off and back on, it is good for a little while then blacks out again.

Any suggestions

Can you substitute the monitor for another one?

Look on craigslists in your area and click on free. People give monitors aways for free.

Hit it with a hammer, that'll fix it. Or poor a glass of water over it or put it in the dishwasher.Maybe it's just dirty. LOL
