I was told that you can not load existing songs from your computer onto a Iphone or Itouch player. The only songs that can be played are those downloaded from Apple, or derived from an original CD. Is this true? I have a large directory of MP3 music accumulated from many sources over the years so I would not buy an Apple device if there was a restriction on what I could play.
