Won't it see the different serial number? You can hook one nano up to five different computers .. ?

Do you just want to know if you can create a single folder and sync only that folder to her ipod?

Or do you want to know if her ipod can sync from your account?

I think it's possible to choose an option of syncing checked songs only. As in, the songs you've check marked to sync.

Sheeze, I'm not helping at all. I'm giving up now.

Lynnifer, it didn't recognize it. Not sure if there is something I need to click to get it to..?

I have been trying to do the same thing w/ managing 2 ipods and was hoping to get some good answers from watching your post. Below is from iTtunes "help" search "synching". I think this is the next thing I will try, managing music manually.

from help:

"You can set up iTunes to automatically update the music and video on your iPod when you connect your iPod to your computer.

If you want to use your iPod with more than one computer, or if your iTunes library contains more music and video than your iPod can hold, you can choose to manage your music and video manually.

You can also add songs with a single click by using Autofill.

You choose between manual or automatic syncing the first time you connect your iPod. You can change the setting at any time."

? Good question we have 2 ipods now. Each time I plug the second one in the computer tries to replace it's library and put my daughters library in to my sons ipod. What am I doing wrong?

You can create 2 separate accounts / logins for your computer. I have 4 created on my home computer with 4 separate iTunes...
