memory card recovery software?

This question might be a longshot but has anybody come across decent software to recover deleted photos or data from a memory card? Thanks in advance if anybody has a suggestion.

there is a paid one that is supposed to work verywell on all drives, i think it works on memory too in case the free ones dont work

I have heard good things about PC Inspector (http://www.snapfiles.com/get/smartrecovery.html) for recovering data.

I was able to recover images from my card by using Image Rescue 3 program from Lexar.
