I have had a number of TIA's (transient ischemic attacks) or mini strokes in the past. It makes it hard for me to remember to meet my obligations, make my appointments and juggle 21 meds per day. I have often gotten confused and taken my meds too soon or too late, and with some of them the threat of overdose is very real. I believe it will help me remain independent a lot longer.
They are currently assigning Blackberries and palm pilots. If you think you could benefit from this program, you should ask your doctor about getting one for yourself. It can make your life a lot easier, especially theose vets with TBI and memory problems or communication issues.
